One of the many things that the last year and a half of Covid has taught us is that you don't have to travel far to find amazing places to ride your motorcycle! The British Isles without doubt have some of the most dramatic and glorious landscape in Europe.  We have designed a trip that will take you to some of the most bewitching parts of these islands, through the Yorkshire Moors, the Northumbrian forest and into the glories of the Scottish Highlands to John O' Groats, continuing round the dazzling west coast and back down, briefly touching the Lake District, with the final night in the sublime landscape of the Yorkshire Dales. 

We begin the trip with a night at a handsome hotel in the charming market town of Malton, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, finishing after the 10th and final night near the picturesque village of Aysgarth, on the other side of the Pennines in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

We have included a well earned day off in John O' Groats where we can take the opportunity to board a ferry to visit the Orkney Isles and to soak up some of the fascinating history of this most ancient of places, with visits to an almost perfectly intact 5000 year old village and the site of the dramatic naval events at Scapa Flow.

Following our day of rest, we continue across the north coast with its stunning beaches and Caribbean coloured water and on down the famously beautiful west coast to Applecross to experience the magnificent Bealach Nà Ba, or Pass of the Cattle. No trip to Scotland would be complete without riding through Glencoe, famously haunted after the massacre of 1692...it is a truly wonderful place and ranks high amongst my all time favourite roads to ride!

This tour of the best roads in Scotland will get the blood pumping and will remind you of all the reasons you love your motorcycle! The route will incorporate parts of the famous NC500, but with our own take on what we consider to be more interesting roads added in. The breathtaking views are sublime and the roads challenging. All in all, a great way to ride some of the finest motorcycling roads in Britain..!

We aim to leave in the morning by 9.00am and aim to be at our destination by 6.00pm in the evening.  This equates to around 6 hours in the saddle - we typically ride for an hour and a half before a short break for a leg stretch or a coffee, with a stop for lunch and another break in the afternoon. We are definitely happy to pull over to admire the view and for photo opportunities along the way.
