If you are after a weekend break where you can to escape the stresses of the working week and indulge in a couple of days of fabulous motorcycling in some of England's most beautiful landscape, then this trip is for you!  We are incredibly fortunate to have some spectacular landscape on our doorstep here in Great Britain and we wanted to bring some of the best of it to you to enjoy as a weekend, early season ride...

Some of the most famous motorcycling roads in the UK are to be found in the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales and we will lead you on a well crafted route through the best bits of these three stunning regions. You will ride the iconic Hardknott, Kirkstone and Honister passes in the Lake District and explore the wide open spaces of the Yorkshire Dales, taking you to the highest pub in England at Tan Hill.

The trip begins on the Friday evening, in a pub near Penrith in Cumbria and the first day takes you through the wonderful passes and stunning landscape of the Cumbrian Lake District. The second night is spent near the village of Near Sawrey where Beatrix Potter lived her life and penned her famous books. Having explored the wonderful, winding roads of the Yorkshire Dales on the second day and ridden the sweeping roads through Ribblesdale and on across the dramatic and bleak hills of the Forest of Bowland, we spend the last night in the shadow of Pendle Hill, infamous as the home of the Lancaster Witches!

We leave in the morning at 9.00am and aim to be at our destination by 6.00pm in the evening.  This equates to around 6 hours in the saddle - we typically ride for an hour and a half before a leg stretch or a coffee with a stop for lunch and another break in the afternoon. We are definitely happy to pull over to admire the view and for photo opportunities along the way.
