A Coastal Craic

A Rocky Mountain Ride

Duration: 2 Weeks

Dates: TBA

Spaces: Available

Clearly, there are many tour companies you can find that will take you across the USA to all those famous roads like Route 66, Monument Valley etc. and we definitely love all of that. However, we felt that America is well covered and we wanted to do a trip on this vast continent somewhere equally spectacular but a little different.

Canada is of course well known for its dramatic terrain and there are many different parts of this enormous country to see that offer an incredible visual banquet.  To us, the obvious place to indulge our voracious appetite for breathtaking landscape had to be the Rocky Mountains.

This trip is full of jaw-dropping scenery and you will be wanting to stop to take in the view at almost every corner. Do not underestimate this country to astonish you with its outstanding beauty!

The roads are sensational, the people are welcoming and very friendly and the weather is perfect at this time of year.  You will not be disappointed...

You will fly in to Vancouver where you will be met by your guide who will take you to meet your motorcycle.  We rent from a reputable organisation with plenty of bikes to choose from.  Please note that the rental arrangement has to be between you and the company for insurance reasons, but we will make all the bookings on your behalf beforehand. As soon as we can, we head off to the hills on the start of this magnificent journey. We begin the ride on the famous Route 99, tracking up through Squamish, Whistler and the Brandywine Falls towards the Rockies themselves.

The trip ends back in Vancouver, where you will enjoy a well earned relax with, we confidently predict, a huge grin on your face!

We leave in the morning at 9.00am and aim to be at our destination by 6.00pm in the evening.  This equates to around 6 hours in the saddle - we typically ride for an hour and a half before a 20 minute break for coffee with a 1 hour stop for lunch and another break in the afternoon. We are definitely happy to stop to admire the view and for photo opportunities along the way.
